WINTER WEEKENDS


Get out of the house this winter at Heritage Reservation's Cub Scout Winter Weekend. Cub Scouts and their families are invited to join us for a weekend of fun and friends. The Pack is attending the weekend of February 25th.

Price includes: Fully staffed program on Saturday, Event patch and Lunch on Saturday. Payment can be made through the council website starting after December 15. More information will be circulated to attendees' then.  


PROGRAM FEATURES

  • Shooting Sports (BB, Archery, Giant Slingshots)
  • Klondike Games (Log sawing and branding)

  • Saturday evening campfire for Full Weekend Participants
  • Activities are subject to change. Should there be sufficient snow, some activities may be switched out for sledding and/or snowshoeing.  All needed equipment is provided. 


DAY PASS PARTICIPANTS

Check-in for Saturday Day Pass participants begins at 9:00 a.m. at Keystone Lodge. Participants are asked not to arrive prior to 9:00 a.m. as staff will not be available.  Participants will be assigned to activity groups and will be provided with a schedule for the day during check-in.  

The Pack has reservations for up to 20 day pass participants. Pricing is $40 per youth and $20 per adult.

MEDICAL FORMS

Please ensure that each participant (youth AND adult) brings a completed Annual Health and Medical Form parts A & B to check-in. If you have questions about the medical form, please see our Information and FAQ page. Medical forms will be collected and secured for the weekend. At the end of the weekend, participants can pick up their forms. Any forms not picked up will be destroyed.


COST

For attending the entire weekend, the cost per person is $115 if paid between December 15 and January 1 (increases $125 through February 15). Payment can be made through the council website starting after December 15. More information will be circulated to attendees' then. 


ITEMS TO BRING

You will need to bring your own linens and personal items. We suggest that you bring the necessities; sweaters, warm jackets, flashlight, extra clothes, boots, etc. Dress for the weather. Be prepared to be outside, to get wet, and to get muddy. Washers and dryers are located in each Potomac Home. Detergents must be provided from home. A suggested packing list is provided here.


HERITAGE RESERVATION ADDRESS

The main address for Heritage Reservation is 300 Heritage Road, Farmington, AP 15437. Some GPS units, however, will try to bring people in through a locked gate on the back side of the property. The alternate address for Heritage Reservation is 2690 Dinner Bell Five Forks Rd., Farmington, PA 15437
